What People's Say About Place

One of IF NOT the best hot chicken in Pueblo. I go here at least 1-2 a week as it has become my new favorite place to get a good chicken sandwich. I always get the hot as hell and the donut bites are also a great side. I met the owners a while back and they have always greeted me when they were there and have always made sure I was taken care of and satisfied. Will definitely be going back many times.

If you’re looking for crispy, mouthwatering, savory, spicy chicken sandwiches, then look no further. Every bite is a straight punch of flavor and spice. Their crinkle cut fries and dipping sauce is pure deliciousness. Definitely check these guys out!

The chicken quality is good. Not a big fan of their "Hot as hell" spice though. It's not that it's too spicy, it just has a very strong dark chili powder flavor. Which could be good if you like dark chili powder. It's too earthy for me. Its fairly mild if youre a chili head. The sauce on it as well as the dripping sauce for the fries is quite good. I just think the dry rub for the hot as well would be better without so much dark chili powder. To me it just tasted like a little bit of pequin pepper is my guess with the rest being dark chili powder. The owner says it has 11 spices in it, but the dark chili powder drowns out the other flavors. Still will give it 5 stars. Maybe the other spice levels are better.

TLDR: SCRUMPTIOUS FOOD + AMAZING SERVICE = 5 STAR EXPERIENCE. Color me surpised to find that, nestled nearly under a bridge, flanked not a troll, but Diavolo Pueblo Hot Chicken. Amazingly atmospheric, devilishly delicious, and service so welcoming it'd turn a sour troll sweet, this place is worth the hairs on my chinny, chin, chin. Do you like thick, fluffy waffles made with a slightly sweet battery, cooked perfectly creating a thin, almost crust like crunch that gives way to a warming sensation provided by large, crunchy skinned, chicken tenders that have been tossed in hot sauce (there are three heat levels to choose from) and topped with the most amazing candied nuts. The thickly sliced pickles provide a cool, heat relieving crunch. But that's not all. In addition to the amazing chicken and waffles, be sure to try the waffle-cut sweet potatoe fries with the housemade fry sauce. It's bursting with flavor, and simply divine. The service was top-notch. Friendly, personable, and memorable. The lovely chef of the day obviously cooks with love, and the owner was just a delight. A globe trotter of the highest caliber, her experiences are briefly revealed through a collection of masks adorning the wall. No suggestions, no concerns. Just an amazing time, full bellies, and happy smiles. Thank you for the experience!

I have to say this is the BEST food we’ve found in Pueblo!! Absolutely delicious/unique flavors! The seasonings on the sweet potato fries are so good, they should sell it!! Lol highly recommend. The “Slow Burn” is the perfect heat that isn’t uncomfortable! 10/10!

Probably the best food in the Fuel & Iron food hall, and they haven't yet disappointed me. Very good hot chicken - almost as good as you might find in Nashville. The not spicy option for their chicken sandwich has plenty of flavor, and their medium spicy "slow burn" has just the right amount of heat. I enjoy their imaginative coleslaw as well. Service is friendly and prompt.

Wow! Everyone in town has been talking g about how good the fried chicken is here, and they weren't lying. It's the best I have ever had! Watch out canes!! I think I found my new favorite chicken place! And the service was amazing. Ken S helped me as it was my first time here And he recommended I try three regular tenders and one hot as I'm new to eating spicy foods. Thanks for a great experience! The girl working with him was nice too. See you guys again soon!

I first found this place after a bike ride this summer and it is now our go-to every time we are in town. Fun atmosphere in this food hall and the food at Diavolo is excellent! My favorite chicken sandwich ever, and where else can you get waffle cut sweet potato fries?!! This weekend I got the vegetarian grain bowl, which I loved, but then since my boyfriend literally dreamt about the chicken, we came back today and had their chicken and waffles. Oh my goodness we are in love. Please keep this item on the menu. We will be back.
